Passionate about real estate since childhood, Garrett Jay bought his first real estate investment at 21. He still owns and manages that NYC apartment along with his other properties. He learned a great deal about mortgages from his father who owned a residential mortgage company and his mother who was Vice President of Commercial Real Estate for a regional bank. He also has extensive investment property and 1031 Exchange expertise.

Garrett Jay received an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, graduated cum laude from the Stern School of Business at NYU with a dual degree in Finance & International Business, and earned a CMA designation (Certified Management Accountant).
He has taught children and adults about personal finance. He’s the Executive Producer of Amazon Bestseller, “Intro to Money” DVD and the Author of “Goodbye Money – 1,000 Ways to Waste It, or Not”.
For fun, Garrett Jay enjoys playing tennis, bicycling, horseback riding, and exotic travel.
